All Statements below are from direct personal emails I have received
after researching and writing the articles on John Grogan as well as
feedback on the creation of this website. Names & any identifying
information have been left out for protection of these people. It is
unfortunate that we have to do this, but we have simply heard too many
stories of how John retaliates when someone questions his tactics and
we feel it is more important to allow folks a way to speak out but
remain anonymous.
"I
appreciate the fact that you have set up this website to look out for
the best interest of the polygraph profession. It is my intention to
share the information gained from your many sources with the membership
of the ******* Association of Polygraph Examiners. I found Grogan's
website laughable until it sunk in that many people may fall pray to
his scam and be misled (or worse). It is my intention to post a link to
your (truth about Grogan website) on our Associations website if the
Board approves it. I have come to understand your past association with
Grogan and appreciate that you are now doing your level best to reveal
the dark corner of polygraph that he is working from. I have a great
deal of respect for you and the effort you are putting into this. I
applaud you for it and will do everything I can to support your
efforts."
"As an examiner, I
have had an issue or two with John and his lack of professionalism.
Thank you for doing the work that most of us wanted to, but did not
have the time. I agree with the points of the article. It is about time
someone called him to the carpet."
"I
just got done reading your issue on Grogan, and I just have to say God
Bless You My Friend, and you were as sharp as could be and on point. I
am so happy you took this bull on by the horns. Calling Grogan a
parasite was spot on, and exactly what he has been to our profession
only feeding off of the good work, research, and established writings
of others. He could have probably been legitimate if he wanted to, but
would have had to lie in his very application to get accepted to any
polygraph school. His whole life is a lie, a phony existance of
pretending to be what he is not, as you so well pointed out."
"Good Job"
"If I was wearing a hat, I'd take it off in honor of you! Brilliant expose' on the earth's greatest bottomfeeder!"
"I exist in somewhat of a bubble down here so I did not know anything about
Grogan. Good article!
I say bravo to you on your initial lack of action based on apparent rumors
but bravo to you again for a great investigative piece when you did act."
"Although
I am up to the proverbial eyeballs in work, I actually took the time to
read every word of your expose on Grogan. This man has been a disgrace
to the entire legal community for far too long."
"Absolutely brilliant article! You should receive your sainthood any day now. I hope Grogan is losing business as we speak."
"Thank
you for all your hard work in exposing Grogan. Let me know if there's
anything I can do to help spread the word on this guy."
"Thank you for this info."
"I
am concerned about the marketing practices of Mr. Grogan. Is there a
problem with me forwarding the Relevant Issue #138 to the ********
Polygraph Association membership? If so, I will simply summarize the
information for our membership. Thank you for putting this information
together. I personally have been curious about the information I
received from PEOA.US."
"Excellent article on Grogan. Any ideas on how to make this info public?"
"Well
now we know the truth, right? Someone (you maybe) did a lot of work
here to prove the guy was a bad person. Thank you on behalf of the
entire profession."
"You did a great job on exposing Grogan"
"This is the first time that anyone has put out the 'real' info on John Grogan"
"First
I would like to commend you on your efforts in regards to Grogan. I am
glad that someone has finally taken the effort to stop him from
continuing to fraud the public and discredit the profession"
"That is an excellent website!"
"Great
work on Grogan. We all know he was dirty but crap that was amazing -
you did a lot of hard work! Thanks again for all your help"
"Thanks for all your hard work on Grogan - Let's keep on him for the sake of our profession"
"It
really begs the question as to whether or not a given legitimate
National polygraph organization such as APA, NPA, AAPP could sue Mr.
Grogan for the damage he has done to the profession, or if a respective
State of California organization might be able to do same. Mr. Grogan's
documented background of fraud, and his appearance in at least one
pornographic movie as a paid supposed polygrapher violates any
standards by which a real Examiner would operate, and Mr. Grogan
assumes he should continue to practice and somehow be counted among our
numbers. He is nothing less than an embarrassment, and your site
is in the best public interest and protection. Clearly, we have
all suffered as a result of Grogan's existance and that of PEOA as
imposters".
Well, as one
of the people who did much of the work required to have Grogan's PI
license revoked, I have to say that you have put my, your and others'
hard work to excellent use. I did a lot of research, convinced people
to take a stand, and informed as many as possible, but you have me way
outclassed with this website. I admire your chutzpah, and your
determination to keep your profession clean and professional. I wish
that California would license polygraphers, so that his license could
be revoked for that as well. He is a shining example of why licensure
is necessary. Now he's back to violating my profession as well. If only
he didn't have so many children to license.
If you would like to post your thougths or feelings about Grogan or this website, please send those to detector@truthaboutgrogan.org. Thanks.
